39 Changi North Crescent, SingaporeWe are seeking an experienced Lead to manage our Innovation, Engineering and Technology Lab. This project aims to provide a platform to test, prototype and deploy state of art innovative technologies to our Collins Aerospace MRO facilities round the world.
The Lead will support all activities in shaping and building up the Innovation, Engineering and Technology Lab. The Lead will also be responsible for the management of the Innovation, Engineering and Technology Lab in line with the overall targets and objectives.
This will include but not be limited to:
  • Creation and maintenance of the IET Master Plan
  • Provides team and technical leadership and work with the relevant stakeholders in defining the direction of the development and industry partnership activities
  • Develop, agree and control the key milestones and deadlines in collaboration with involved parties
  • Monitor progress, ensure risk assessment, manage programme review and steering sessions, ensure effective communication & escalation across different levels and report progress according to the governance & reporting structure
  • Management of schedule, scope and costs of the programme including the coordination of projects and change management activities
  • Promoting and fronting the various IET Lab activities with relevant stakeholders in the business, industry etc
REQUIREMENT
  • This position requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and minimum 10 years' experience in engineering, product design and development.
  • Strong practical experience in project and programme management
  • Minimum degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Good understanding of the wider business context and external environment.
  • Experience in the aviation maintenance processes will be advantage.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial success from idea to execution.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with ability to work with a wide range of individuals involved in a large scale programme
  • Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
  • Ability to work within tight timelines
  • Ability to think out of the box
